This year is almost over. This has not been a great year in some respects for us but in everything, we have seen God's hand. In January, Rolland had heart surgery. In September I had a car wreck. Neither one of these things were anything that we planned on doing!! Both things disrupted our lives tremendously, cost us money, but God has been good. I think Rolland is going to write some about his heart procedure, so I will let him do that.
Project Linus continues to grow. Since June of 2003, we have made and delivered 9,199 blankets, quilts and afghans. That means that 9,199 children in SW Missouri have had a need in their lives that received some comfort from a new blanket meant just for them. This group astounds me. There are at the most 30 women who work with me from all over the SW corner of the state and across the state line into Kansas.
It is a great group of giving and very talented women.
My plan for this blog is keep at it every day or so...so, please check it once in a while and then comment where you want to so we will know if anyone is reading all this nonsense!! Jo
