I hope that when you looked outside today that you saw something like we saw...the pear tree blooming...patches of yellow and white jonquils and daffodils ...grass turning green (almost before our eyes)...and best of all...BLUE SKY!! Wonderful!!
Tomorrow is Easter. I heard a commercial on TV yesterday that said..."It's all about the candy!" Well, it isn't, it's about the death, burial and resurrection of Christ. Because HE lives, we can face tomorrow. Because HE lives all fear is gone. Because I know HE holds the future, and life is worth the living just because HE lives.
A prayer for today...Thank you Father, for the wonderful reminder every Spring of the rebirth of your creation. Thank you for the reminder that no matter the circumstances that we find ourselves in---problems, illness, growing older...no matter what...you are in control. Thank you...Amen.
