Papa's Pittance

Well, we got more snow and more snow. But, Praise the Lord, we didn't get any ice. We have  had enough ice storms in this part of the country to last for a long time, I think.

I know I gripe about snow and get all flustered and bothered when I have to get out in it to go somewhere or to shovel (which I try not to do anymore). But, this snow is pretty in the way it drifted in and around nooks and crannies in the yard. Over the top of a planter until it looked like a GIANT snow ice cream cone; piled up against our neighbor's rustic wood fence and how it drifted around the cars and trucks. So, I wanted you all who have heard me yell and scream for numerous years about snow, that ONCE IN A GREAT WHILE I do see the beauty. Maybe it's time for me to mellow a bit. Who knows?

Anyway, I thought you would be astounded that I admitted that there is great beauty in a snowfall. And while I still like the weather in Florida and Arizona much better, there comes a time when one has to humble ones self and fess up and say, "That really is pretty." (But, I'll be glad when it's gone, too.)

Love you all, each and every one and wish God's blessing on all. Papa G
